How to Market a Book Using Twitter

by Chris on September 8, 2009

Twitter has to be one of THE BEST tools for authors to market their books to an online audience.

Problem is, most authors don’t use Twitter, or if they do, they use it inefficiently or incorrectly.

In this special report, “Sneaky Twitter Tricks for Authors: How to Legally Steal the Fans of the World’s Most Popular Authors,” I show you how to market a book using Twitter with a really simple and very quick little tactic for taking advantage of the Twitter Revolution.

your service sounds really good and i wrote a book that ain’t afraid of anything. even on the first page, it vaguely explains what some people don’t wanna hear and that if you can’t take it…then right about now would a good time to bail. i made nothing up. i only reported on what i saw and heard all throughout the ages…not my fault. it’s due out around january or so. my major obsticle is that i don’t know a fucking thing about computers. no joke. it took me 15 minutes to type this. can you get back to me on that? thanks

Mike, I believe you have a good book and there maybe some good points people can use to help their understanding of your topic.

I would like to suggest to you that you work with someone you can trust to help you present a polished book (product) prior to going to marketin January. As a author, I understand the challenges and effort to create a “conversation on paper” with readers who are interested in your topic. Unfortunantely, those readers are also critical and are sold on perception (writing style, story flow, and take away (WIIFM – What’s In It For Me?)

Therefore, to increase your chances of success and create a positive and profitable opportunity for yourself. I would consider my suggestion of finding someone to help you. I believe you can accomplish this. As you mentioned. “Your book ain’t afraid of anything.” That’s good because the author has to prove every word written in the book in order for it to be truly creditable. So, I am sure you will not be afraid to work with someone who can help you present the “Best Book” the marketplace has seen or read on your topic.

Secondly, I recommend you take a computer course at a local college or see if courses are being held in your city or community. This will be a “GREAT A$$ET” to you. The computer will allow you to create and check you writing for spelling and various mechanics of writing. This will also be a great benefit to the one who will be helping you.

In closing, Mike, I have confidence in you and I want you to avoid your own failure by not being properly prepared for this responsibility as a author. I want you to ask yourself, 1.)”Am I willing to work hard to deliver the best content and reader experience the first-time someone picks up my book?” 2.)You will know you have done that when you get 10 or more testimonials from friends and strangers who say, “Your Book Helped Me…!!!”

Once you accomplished these two (2) things mentioned, then you are ready to design the cover and sell your book. Mike, a book allows you to be recognized as a “Expert” for a particular topic. The “Expert” status is not to be taken lightly. The finish copy of your book turns into a business, and it is the doorway to your dreams. I believe you have what it takes to walk through that door, but “Do Not Cut Corners!!!”

“Give Your Best” in everything you do and your life will be positively impacted for the good always. I am sure you can handle the task before you, otherwise you would have not come to the Author’s Edge.

Step off the edge and walk passed you fears and doubts, the net will appear as God allows and assist you to reach your destiny. Rememeber Mike, “It is pleasant to see dreams come true.” Proverbs 13:19a

Sincerely Successful,

Barrier Breaker
